Innovative Physical Organic Solutions (IPOS) was formed in 2006 at The University of Huddersfield as a commercial facility to provide contract analytical services to external companies.
In 2009 IPOS secured an ERDF grant which enabled the construction of a purpose built facility equipped with a broad range of state-of-the-art instrumentation. Following this, in 2012 IPOS was awarded Centre of Excellence status by Agilent Technologies.
IPOS has a strong commitment to quality, reflected in achieving ISO9001 accreditation in 2013 from UKAS and EU GMP status in 2014 from the MHRA.
