GC & GC-MS
For the analysis of volatile organic molecules IPOS has a range of GC and GCMS options:
- Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry.
- Single Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry (with liquid injection and headspace options).
- Flame Ionisation Detection.
- Nitrogen/Phosphorus Selective Detection.
GPC-MALLS
For polymer molecular weight and polydispersity analysis we have a range of GPC columns with a Wyatt Multi-Angle Laser Light Scattering (MALLS) detector.
Ion Chromatography
We have a Metrohm 850 IC equipped with both conductance and pulsed amperometric detection for the analysis of inorganic salts, short chain amines and carboxylic acids and oxidisable species such as sugars.
Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS):
Our Agilent 7900 ICP-MS allows the trace-level analysis of most elements in the periodic table. For samples which are not easily solublised in mineral acids we have the ability to use ashing or microwave digestion.
